Making a basic omelet can be a lifesaver these days. We dine out less and less due to the Covid situation.
In the video below, I am sharing my tip and tricks on how to make a great omelet.

So, first going to show you a western-style omelet. It has bell peppers, onion, and cheese. And the second one is mushroom and cheese, a very simple and yummy omelet. These omelets are perfect for weekends. Let’s make them.

Making an omelet at home is not that hard! With a few basic steps, you can have yummies omelet at home.
Just fill it with whatever veggies you have.

We always have bell peppers and mushrooms on our weekly shopping list. With these 2 veggies, you can make so many easy lunch or dinner.

My hobby’s favorite is mushroom and cheese.

 

Here are some winning combinations for filling:

– Bacone and parmesan cheese
– Spinach and tomatoes with feta cheese
– Leftover any cooked veggies with cheese
– Ham and cheese

2 Easy Cheese Omelet

 

Western style omelet

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp bell pepper chopped
  • 2 tbsp onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • - Chop your veggies Onion and bell pepper.(Mushroom)
    - Now crack two eggs in a bowl and whisk together until mixed well.
    - Start by heating a pan over medium heat. Spray olive oil.
    - Add chopped bell peppers and onion ( Chopped Mushroom)
    - Sauté for about 6-7 minutes or so until lightly browned and tender.
    - Season with salt and pepper and set it aside..
    - Now heat a small pan and melt the butter and roll it around to coat the bottom of the pan.
    - Add eggs to the pan and add the lid on.
    - Now gently move the eggs around the pan as they begin to set up.
    - Continue until your eggs are almost cooked.
    - Now add cooked veggies onto one half of your omelet and add cheese over the top.
    - Now it’s time to fold the omelet onto itself to create a half-moon.
    - Add a lid on and let sit for a minute or so to cheese melt well.
    - Then serve it with leftover veggies and enjoy.
