Vancouver Snow
Vancouver Snow, Canada Winter Time
Snow in Vancouver is a rare and magical occurrence that captivates both locals and visitors alike. Vancouver, located on the southwest coast of Canada, is famous for its mild and temperate climate, making snowfall a relatively infrequent event. When the city is blanketed in a layer of snow, it transforms into a winter wonderland, offering a unique and enchanting experience.
We moved here after living for 10 years in a tropical paradise, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, and just imagine Vancouver has the heaviest snow since 2008. What a warm welcome… 😉
These Canadian goose birds are so cute from a distance!!! But be careful not to get too close to them!!! they may attack you.
Here is beautiful English Bay Beach, covered in snow.
It’s a rare moment when English Bay Beach is covered in snow.
The cute little snowman
One of the most iconic places to witness the beauty of snow in Vancouver is Stanley Park. This expansive urban park, surrounded by the waters of the Pacific Ocean, becomes a serene and ethereal landscape during a snowfall. The towering evergreen trees, the Seawall, and the Totem Poles are all adorned with a layer of snow, creating a postcard-worthy scene.
