Cooling holiday retreat Fraser’s Hill
Don’t miss this cooling holiday retreat Fraser’s Hill when you are in Malaysia. This beautiful hill is named after a Scottish explorer James Louis Fraser who when missing mysteriously in 1900.
Fraser’s Hill or Bukit Fraser is an ideal place for one day escape from KL heats. But I suggest if you have time stay one night and go for jungle trekking.
It takes around 2.5 to 3 hours to reach there from KL. The road to Fraser’s Hill is a narrow most part but the weather is mostly cool and foggy especially at night.
We stayed at Fraser’s Silverpark Resort, It was clean but to be honest noteworthy.
Although the view from the balcony was magical and breathtaking.
Do not forget to visit”ye olde smokehouse”, the charm of English countryside house and its architecture.
Also, it’s great to have high tea there. Their scones are freshly baked and yummy. Smokehouse has English style charming decoration and atmosphere.
There are so many different trails for jungle trekking and bird watching. We picked Hemmant Trail which is only 1 KM and easy ones. 😀
In addition, there are some activities at Fraser’s Hill: jungle tracking, Bird Watching, Golfing, Boating, Horseback Riding, Archery.
Overall It was a great one-night getaway, the weather was cool and foggy which make our stay more memorable.
