Redang Island – Malaysia
Redang Island is one of the largest islands off the east coast of Malaysia. And famous for its crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. Also a great spot for snorkeling and diving.
We stayed at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort which facing the South China Sea and has a spectacular view. As for Redang island itself, the place has wonderful nature. But the Taaras hotel is what spoils it all; a private white sandy beach… you can live here for weeks and never be bored.
On the first day, we relax and enjoy the hotel beach area.
There was a snorkeling day tour with 5 stops and we arranged for the next day.
The marine life was impressive and our tour guide made the whole experience stress-free. Overall, we were so impressed with the different types of cute fish.

How to get to Redang Island :
By Car: From Kuala Lumpur to Merang Jetty around 6 hours drive
By Car: From Kuala Lumpur to Merang Jetty around 6 hours drive
Then Ferry transfer to Redang Island around 1 hour.
